littlelegs, I've just made a mess - a failed coffee and pecan cake!!!

It stuck to the tin and fell to bits! :-| :-|

Now I'm pinning my hopes on chocolate cupcakes! Why oh why did I volunteer for the Village Hall coffee morning. I need my blooming head examining! :-D :-D

My garden is full of colourful butterflies. Lovely.

Dermot, Hi! I've noticed that there are a lot more butterflies around this year! :-D

I've noticed the butterflies too.
They are bootyfool.
I'm not really into strange things but my mum died 2yrs ago.

During her funeral service in the church, 2 beautiful, large yellow butterflies suddenly appeared above the coffin.
They danced and twirled for so long that even the priest stopped to watch.
They eventually settled on the wall either side of the altar and stayed there, unmoving until the end of the service.
Guess what?
They reappeared at the grave during this part too!

I always stop to watch butterflies now

Littlelegs.... I know that I'm always harping on about it but... have you checked out your local library?

Ours have crafty stuff for kids almost every day during the holidays.
The children's assistants work their wee socks off to make these fun!
Last week they made Flip Flops.
Carboard templates, pipe cleaners and craft flowers.

Another day it was musical instruments.... guitars made from 2 paper plates and rubber bands.
Best of all was Star Wars.
They made sabers using those foam noodle things that are used in swimming pools.
