We always have them on Saturdays. By the time we have dragged all around the shops and put everything away we can't be asked to cook :-D :-D :-D

I can't think which one you mean Barb, my fav at the moment is the Argos one with the little Martian type people.... :-D

I threw my chip pan out a few years ago as I forget things and was afraid I might set fire to the place.
My OH was inconsolable for a bit LOL and now he has oven chips about once every 2 weeks. I dont eat them, well very rarely.

We bought a plot of land and decided to build our own place....we sold our home and the day we were moving out I put the chip pan on to melt the fat soI could clean it, then I went to my MIL.'s house to store some stuff......MIL and me returned to find all the windows black and the fire engine roaring down our road :-0 :-0 :-0

No chippy in our village, but a van comes on Thursdays - chips are gorgeous, but a little early at 4.30! :-(

Every now and again i allow him to go to the chippy and I have just the fish. He has enough chips to feed the street :-D

Ann how awful for you and in your new home too. Mind you I still burn pans and I have to double check I have turned the gas off when I'm done. Age thing I suppose :-D :-D

It was in the house we had sold Barb, the kitchen was gutted near enough. The new people were moving in next day :-0

I don't have a chip pan now , I have a deep fat fryer built into the unit :-D

My chips were yummy - from the local chippie - haven't had any for a while but as it was dark early and persisting down it was not and evening for salad :-D
