We are mid winter, today was grey and cold. Yesterday we had a huge frost and the most amazingly sunny day :-). The electric blankets are on already. It is 7.45 pm here.

Avatar is a photo of a shop window, taken May last year at Ironbridge. Most windows had jubilee decorations, this one took my fancy...

fortunately I was out of the country for the whole of the Summer in 76 - was staying with friends in Massachussetts but was watching things on TV - the day we arrived back in UK it sarted to rain and I just couldn't believe how dried and brown everything was
