Time flies by, and we have lost so many friends over the years. Remembering them all, I do find comfort thinking about them all having one giant meet.

she was lovely - Sandie and Daff - and as you say Daff's birthday coming up, right next to mine - we had a lot in common Daff and I :-D :-D :-D :-D

I knew it was very close to mine -adjacent day actually :-D

AnnC......it was a year on May 4th, and l'm in contact with her OH quite regularly . He came here 2 weeks ago and we took him to the church last week and put flowers at the headstone.

Definately special thoughts on the 26th June...xx

AnnC yes Daff's birthday was in June, I was thinking that last week but can't for the life of me remember the exact date. I am sure Sue will remember though. So sad that so many good friends on here have passed on. <3

I was only thinking the other day that it must be a year in June. I can see where Sandie lived from my house and I often think of her when I'm in my garden looking up the hill where she lived.

lots of lovely memories of our Sandie - I still have messages from her and won't delete them - we clicked the first time we met in Abergavenny - our lovely Jean was there too - how long since Jean has gone? And how is her OH?

And our Daff - another one off!! thought of her only this morning as I was down our village - passing Lloyd's Bank and recalled when I met her coming our of the bank having just set up an account for the son of one of our members who was injured in one of the Middle East wars

I didn't know Sandie myself, being relatively new to the boards, but I do know how much she was loved!
