Ann - yes, Britain has definitely slipped round on its axis, and we're now just south of the Arctic Circle, with the north of Scotland next to the Iberian Peninsula. :-D

Lilybids, yer mixing up yer Geordies, Pet - it was GP that was fancying the toffee apples!

GP, try the seaside, maybe Whtiley Bay. Our local seaside place, Hunstanton, has a sweet stall (Rocky Thompson) that sells them, and comes out to all local events. :-D

Hiya GinN. I visit Whitley bay, Cullercoats and Tynemouth quite often and I have never seen any on display for ages. Mind you these places have changed dramatically over the years and it appears that you can only buy ice-creams if you can find a vender.

Hi Lilybids - Tell that man to come to Geordieland as we are desperate for a toffee apple. :-D

GinN - Just the dome and its building are left - All sideshows ghost train etc all gone.
A school was built on the land where the shows used to be. Lots of pubs have closed now.

Half of me thinks how sad !!! and the other half thinks unprintable things.
