Just been talking to Sue - she's still very much under par as they had to give her heavy doses of antibiotics for the op because of all the metal in the hip that she became vulnerable to infection - hence when she was struck with the virus it was mega - the antibiotics they gave her to clear it up were making her worse and eventually the Charge Nurse on the ward suggested to the surgeon that they stop the antibiotics and give her Immodium instead to stop the squits and within 24 hours it had stopped, but she is still in recovery from that virus and not well enough to come on the boards yet - but watch this space

She was gobsmacked when I told her how all her enemies on here had had a whip round for her and raised threepence [ :-D] - as you know it's a lot more than that - I asked her from where she would like a voucher and she agreed that Boots would be good, so I'll get the voucher on the weekend and post it off next week along with the cards which people sent me to forward - job done :-D :-D

Glad you were able to talk to her and I hope that she will soon be perking up again. Hope that she enjoys spending the collection.
