I came across a story yesterday and seeing this thread is back - Liz Dawn has been rushed into hospital and is said to be very seriously ill with fluid on the lung.

Just wondered if AnnCardiff is alright as I haven't seen any posting from AnnC for
quite a while. I hope she is ok.

So sad to see that Liz Dawn passed away. Most of the cast attended the funeral and said lovely things about her. She was very well respected.

So the trial with Bethany is over, and the bad guys were put away. Good!

The Phelan saga is dragging on, I think I know who will end up in the cellar..........could it be Daniel for digging around too much.

Eileen is going to be very disappointed when all she finds in her 'new home' is dungeon!

I have caught up with Corrie & I cannot believe the Murder story on Friday .to much & before watershed ..Goodness Phelan is one evil man .& he just met Eileen in the pub after the dirty deeds as though nothing had happened creepy Barbara :-0

Eileen is dopey in any case. She wont have anything said about Phelan, and is going to come down to earth with a bump. Also, is Todd going to be implicated in his dirty dealings?

I kept getting Phelan's daughter and David's girlfriend mixed up as they look quite alike to me. I must admit the actor who plays Phelan is very convincing. He needs to get back to the house quick and clear out all of the evidence now. What is happening with the knicker factory?

It was only dopey Rosie that saw Phelan, in between filing her nails. She has probably forgotten by now!

Is Phelan setting Anna up for a break-in or something. Very convoluted, and I am not sure that I care that much!

I have watched Corrie since the early days I remember Annie Walker Martha ..Elsie Tanner ..it will move on but the stories with the Murders & affairs just seem to far fetched for me .do the writers of Emmerdale & Corrie meet up as some stories are just similar Emma being murdered . oh well see if evil Phelan gets caught out .probably big story for Christmas :-|

For a moment (only a moment I might add), Phelan had me convinced. Where did he get the money from? Was it Vinny's, sometimes I think I blink and miss a week's worth of goings on.

The Billy story seems unnecessary, can't even soapland have one almost normal person in it.

Colin and Moira, I have to admit, made me chuckle a bit, probably a good comic pairing. Unlike Dev and Gina, another unnecessary story.

Are these storylines getting more ridiculous by the day?

I don't believe for one minute that Gary is dead. That story has more holes than a sieve. David will spill the beans to Sarah, and then Gary will walk in.

Phelan's deception will no doubt come to a head over Christmas and Eileen will burn the turkey!

Baby George and Banana gate is a awful story line :-( :-(

However, Mary's almost monologue last night was beautifully acted. This has given her the opportunity to show she can act. She is great at comedy but also at the heavier stuff.

Oh I love Mary, she is so funny, but she can act the socks of some of the others.

Lovely to see Norris defending Mary.

I wonder if Mary's daughter in law might be doing something to George without realising it. Or maybe he has some undiagnosed condition. Cos I certainly believe Mary is innocent.
