A senior citizen bought a brand new BMW and drove it out of the salesroom.

Taking off down the motorway, he floored it to 120mph; enjoying the wind blowing through what little hair he had left.”Amazing!" he thought as he flew down the Freeway, enjoying pushing the pedal to the metal even more.

Looking in his rear view mirror, he saw a police car behind him, blue ~red lights flashing and siren blaring.

"I can get away from him - no problem!" thought the elderly nutcase as he floored it to 140mph, then 150 then 160.Suddenly, he thought,

"What on earth am I doing? I'm too old for this nonsense!"So he pulled over to the side of the road and waited for the police car to catch up with him.

Pulling in behind him, the police officer walked up to the driver's side of the BMW, looked at his watch and said, ”Sir, my shift ends in 10 minutes.

Today is Friday and I'm taking off for the weekend. If you can give me a reason why you were speeding that I've never heard before,
I'll let you go."

The old man, looked very seriously at the policeman and replied,
"Years ago my wife ran off with a policeman.
I thought you were bringing her back."

"Have a good day, Sir", said the policeman.

A few years ago I saw an elderly chap driving a very powerful convertible Porsche. He had obviously been through his mid-life crisis and was enjoying spending the grandchildren's inheritance.
And the number plate?........................

Just a few doors down from me, living on his own is a fella called Reuben.
He is 98 this year, and he`s still driving, nothing powerful mind you.
I believe its a Fiesta or something very like that.

shame really that men can only afford bird-pulling cars when they're too old to do anything!!!! :-D [with girls that is]

I looked at a nice powerful converable last year. Good condition, reasonable price, lovely drive.....then the wife found out.

We spent the same amount of cash on curtains carpets and a kitchen. Ho hum.

Fast cars and fast women.
By the time you can afford them their performance is great but your isn't.
Still, imagination is a wonderful substitute !

Well, I'm a well-looked after, but clapped out, old girl who drove our well-looked after, but clapped out, 15-year old BMW Estate over to my allotment this morning. It contained a 10-year old clapped-out wheelbarrow and a few clapped-out tools.

I performed well until dusk and so did my old BMW getting me home, but tonight I'm still clapped-out :-D

Love me old BMW - she serves me well <3

Next door neighbour (72) has just swapped his Renault Clio for a Lamborghini. Took it down to West Wales today for its first spin and on the way back phoned his wife from Sarn Services.

"Ewww!! It drove like a dream, cariad. Very tidy indeed. Be home in about 10 minutes. Just along M4 to Junction 34 and up past Talbot Green".

"Be careful, Dai" said his wife, "Just heard on Welsh News that a car is travelling wrong way along the M4."

"One car!!! Ewww. I've seen hundreds of them" :-D

My friend has a Countach John

JustJohn Report 2 Mar 2013 22:20

Errol. Think this one might be an Aventidor. Foreign anyway, and Renault Clio looked quite nice.

Countach is a real classic :-)

I have a Micra - gold it is :-)

OH had a BMW but I sold it :-(

JustJohn

JustJohn Report 2 Mar 2013 22:35

Flippin heck. I live in Valleys, Errol. This car next door is more expensive that any of the houses down here and is a real head turner (mind you, his Renault Clio was very tidy too and tasty).

An AventAdor and a Countach? You have just given away location of where you live. :-D ;-)

eRRolSheep

eRRolSheep Report 2 Mar 2013 22:38

and the location is?

Maybe they should sell the car to help your area out of the fuel poverty crisis?

We tend to rather like cars here and have a lot of respect for anything half decent
