Don't like lamb, John, you can have it! I hope we get lambs in the field opposite this year, though they are usually taken outside the village at lambing time. |

Oh no! I can see that a number of sheep have escaped from the field opposite, and some of them are getting into peoples gardens! Hope the farmer rounds them up soon, they can be very destructive. |

Could be a Great Black Backed Gull, Emma. They tend to be solitary. |

I can see sunshine from my window, with snow threatened for later. My little grandson is here today so we have been looking for birds through the window |

Just to clarify, I saw on the news this morning at 6am that there had been snow in parts of the north of England last night. I then saw on another thread that Julie in Derbyshire, Sue in Leeds and Joy in Middlesborough had mentioned they had woken up to snow this morning. |

John, why crib of information off my post, just to bulk out your own, just to make a post on this thread for the sake of making a post. Nothing gets any the better with you, does it. |

Nice to wake up to Allan and Scozz discussing how warm and wet, or very warm and very dry, Australia is. Makes me feel as if I am in Australind or Bondi Beach for a minute or two. :-D :-D |

I'm about as far away from Allan as you can get in Oz. He's on the west coast, I'm on the east. I'm about 10km north of the most easterly point. |
