Well as it was me mentioning my first concert on the Welsh thread then I think I'd better add my concerts.

My first was with my granddaughter when she was 8yrs old and that is when I took her to see Gareth gates with Will Young and Zoe Birkett at Sheffield 2002.

My only other concert was Russell Watson last year at LLangollen Eisteddfod.

Going to show my age here - and I wish I'd kept my membership card of The Cavern Club, it could've been worth something now.

I can recall seeing

The Quarrymen in Liverpool - the forerunner of the Beatles
The Beatles (as they became - I could hardly hear them above screams)
The Swinging Blue Jeans
Gerry & the Pacemakers
Dave Berry
The Dave Clark Five
The Kinks
Gene Pitney
Marianne Faithfull
The Supremes
Status Quo (superb)
Tina Turner
Bryan Adams
Black-eyed Peas

I'm pretty sure I caught other groups in Liverpool but my mind's gone blank - it's the age, you know.

I used to go to the Marquee Club in London so too many to mention who were popular in the 60s but after that:
Joe Brown
Bee Gees at Batley Social Club whilst everyone was munching their fish and chips...lol
Elton John in Germany
The Beatles in 1964 ticket cost 7/6d
The Stones during 'the bigger bang' tour and they were FANTASTIC
Rod Stewart
The Kooks (crap)
The Pretenders
David Essex

I had tickets for the Who in Germany but had to fly home and missed them which I really regret.

Oh dear Jude, I didnt add one person I saw in concert to my list. He was a very good showman at the time, but had I known then what we all know now I would have saved my money.

Am i the only one here who has seen Gary Glitter but now wish I hadnt?

Yay, another Girly with good taste. :-)

We had the opportunity of seeing Marvin Gaye, but as the kiddlywinkles were very small, we could not afford the tickets............6 months later he was dead. Very sad.

Love Motown, sing it, dance it, live it.

I used to go to The Calais in Dunstable, saw almost all of the Motown groups, Jimmy Ruffin was my absolute favourite but still adore the rest.

Before I got into Motown I saw Blackfoot Sue and some others but from then on, Motown became my world. Gosh, saw so many ...
