Mindbenders

Just remembered, I saw Billy Fury at at an old rockers show at Wembly - he still had the swoon factor :-D
Also on the bill -
Jerry Lee Lewis
Little Richard
Emile Ford :-0
ermmm...... :-S
That perv who wore sparkly suits - he got booed off and beer cans thrown at him. He was pretty out of place on the bill anyway. I'm not giving him credence by giving his name.

This was about '77 so they were all a bit, err, retro :-D Was great for us youngsters who'd heard of them though :-D :-D

Jude,,
,I had never been in a pub before I was 15yo,,,,,and then only cuase my boyfrriend won a cricket match and the trophies were given out at the pub...

My sis used to take me to pubs when I was younger......she is 7 years older than me....so she would sneak me in

And quite often bash the c**t out of me if I didn't go or agree ith her...

Jude..
I was like 17yo,,,,,so must have been early 1882 or late 1881...

My sis wanted to go sleep on th beach.....but then she got scared of the dark......so we went to the Tartha pub...

We were not pub goers.....but was the only place close that was open....

I had no idea who Midnight Oil was,,,,,but they were asking for "requests" and they didn't play any of mine..

Think there was all about 12 of us in the pub......LOL

I was a little stuck up bitch eating prawns by the bucket load.....

I was kicked out of Tarthra Pub for throwing prawn heads at Midnight Oil...
I thought (at first) it was because I was underage...but turned out it was beacuse I was throwing prawn heads.....

Funny as they never queried my age.....I would have been 17yo if a day...
All you need is a 17yo drunk and hating the music.....LOL
