As no one is awake in the UK at the moment (apart from the very many working night shifts) I thought that I'd nip onto the thread and add my own

In a recent epistle from GR to one of us on here, they stated that if a member was found to be over using the RR button, they would be dealt with severely and banned for life. So, from that, do we surmise that,

a. GR have not kept to their word, and no one has been singled out as the purportraitor (sp)
or
b. There is more than one person doing this, possibly in the wee small hours, and they take it in turns, somehow, to spread the blame around.
This coutre of friends are possibly working on a separate mission than the one that does it whilst people are on the board during the day.

Though this may come across as amusing, it is not meant to be, and is in no way funny to the people it is happening to. It is way beyonf time, that this desists.

Julia - I know you are not intimating that it could be the Aussie/NZ/Canada contingent who are responsible but who would stay up till all hours just to RR a thread or post?

That suggests careful planning and surely the kick that the RR'er gets can't be worth it.

Well I have contacted support, and I suggest we all do asking them to take action regarding this person :-|

Yes I did mean the contingent on this side of the world, and, as for the kick they get out of it, well surely, that is the whole ethos of doing it. To get a kick out of it, whatever that kick may be, to them.

Who knows, Kemp? The person could come from anywhere and use any account - if they've go the money they could buy numerous accounts. The problem is people will start 'looking' at each other with suspicion.

It will get to the point where we feel unable to go against popular opinion for fear of being accused of causing trouble by RR'ing. A mere WUM will be under suspicion of having an itchy finger. It definately needs to be sorted.

This is crazy the posts being reported are ok posts!!!!!

I dont get it ..we need to go back to the old system where people reported the post and GR removed it when they got to the office!!

The rest of people will just have to put up with the nastiness that we will then be able to read for days before GR get in!!!!

Could possibly some non-member have accessed the threads via a member not signing out?

ie a younger person doing this for whatever reason?

I have also reported it to GR. Got a reply, which said I could RR posts I thought were inappropriate.
