Marion - first time he made them it was so funny - using my big Chef he made the mix and I said to add the milk slowly turned my back for a second to put something in the sink and he had poured the lot in in one go!

Got over that - he cut the scones and put on tray and I said just wipe with milk using pastry brush - I turned my back and there they were with a ring of milk around them - the WORST part was they rose and rose - I could have spit :-0

Chris..could have been worse,they might have exploded lol

All this talk of scones is making me hungry....LOL
will have to go out and get some dinner soon.....LOL.

Go catch a wild haggis Foggy,that will keep you busy for a long time lol.

My Mum and Dad used to drive out to the New Forest for a cream tea in the 80s. My mum loved her cream teas. :-)

I do a lovely cream tea for friends in my garden in the summer sometimes. In fact, I can be quite ladylike sometimes, with a little effort :-S

Depends, Chris - if I'm feeling posh it's napkins. Otherwise it's a piece of kitchen roll :-D
