Julia

Julia Report 3 Feb 2012 15:36

Listen up everyone. I have just now received a letter, from the hospital.
I am being admitted on Tuesday next, for an ERCP, for an investigation of me bowels. This is done for any of the following reasons, apparently.
a. To enlarge the opening of the bile duct.
b. To remove or crush any stones in the bile duct.
c. To insert a stent to open the bile duct.

Now, I know it is short notice, but they could have kept me in over the weekend. The letter must have been prepared whilst I was still on the ward. Lawdy, Lawdy. And, when I had the Botox injection last June, which obviously didn't work, why did they not explore whilst they where in there.

I will never get me 'ead around the wastage in the NHS.

Still, I shall be there, all present and correct.

Take Care All

PS. Better spend this weekend getting a piece of crocheting on the go to take with me. LOLOL

About time too - I seem to recall you waiting for an op over a year ago. Hopefully this will sort everything out at long last. How is OH? Fully recovered?

Thank you everybody for posting your kind thoughts, yet again LOLOL

Wend, it may well be my gold mac. I have just finished a navy ripple scarf, and a glengarry (Tam 0 Shanter) to match, as it has a Navy collar on it. Must look out an appropriate pin to put on it, as hat pins are not about these days. I have a very nice kilt pin (from childhood), a birds claw, and a skian doh (sp), minature version. Descisions, descisions.(sp).
