Just a quick update

I start my radiotherapy on the 9th Jan & that will be every week day for 6 weeks :-0

My lump turned out to be 11cms long & of the 30 lymph nodes removed 25 was cancerous.

Good luck to you, Julie. I had to do the same in January/February 26 years ago for 6 weeks, in the snow and with my little 2 yr old daughter with me every day (she loved it because the radiologists gave her choccies!) It was fine and I'm still here to tell the tale :-D <3

Edit to add Julie - sending you a hug and try not to worry. I added my personal experience to (hopefully) give you encouragement. You'll probably feel tired during the radiotherapy, but just have lots of rest and take it easy. After that, you'll start to feel much better, and it will be onwards and upwards for you, I hope.

Good luck Julie, I'm sure you are just looking forward to getting it over and getting back to normal. One thing that is important is to look after yourself and keep your defenses up. Keep away from people with colds, infections etc.
