Couldnt agree more ladies, I do hope the courts take the same approach as they did after the riots. :-D

I have just been watching the local news. Dale Farm is in our news catchment area.

It said a lot of the people living there had gone, it was the protestors who were mainly causing the agro.

The local people are relived but as one said, it should have never been able to get to where it is now.

omg David Essex is on shortly to give his views, wonder what he will be on about as he is from a gypsy background.

I will report back later :-D

My Dad was Irish, moved to England at the age of 16 and joined the Army before WW2. his brother who lived in Ireland always seemed to be looked after much better as a pensioner than our pensioners here.

David Essex is speaking, he says he doesnt understand why the protestors are at Dale Farm as they are not real travelers.

David Essex *swoon*......

right back to the subject.

Lady traveler...."you promised not to use force" hmmmmm OK let the police stand there and be stunned by house bricks, what a good idea :-0

I read some cracking comments on a FB support page - "I wish I had the land, they could come and live here" talk is cheap, clearing up afterwards isn't.

We could do with a carry on eviction........like plan a distraction...a big fat gypsy wedding,

Fern Cotton playing the bride

Jason Manford playing the groom

Babs Windsor as the brides mother

Louis Walsh playing the vicar

Keith Lemon as DJ

John Bishop as a drunken gate crasher

it would so work :-D

What a fiasco this is.

Apparently, the cost to the public purse i.e. the tax and rate payer, you and I in other words - around £18,000,000 - would have been halved if they had re-housed each of the evicted families in a £250,000 detached house.

Given that the families that are being evicted allegedly own the land, who is going to compensate them for their loss, or will they be able to reclaim it after the site has been flattened?

JoyBoroAngel

JoyBoroAngel Report 19 Oct 2011 20:13

no need to compensate
they will still own the land
maybe they could open up another scrap yard
