Thanks again to everyone on this thread. Sometimes I wonder if you all realise just how much your interest and positive thoughts mean to our family. At times it isn't easy for us, the family, to talk to each other about the situation for fear of saying to much, BUT, and it is a very large BUT, somehow I can, TALK to you on here not simply for me but on behalf of the immediate family.

Bridget, same as Barbra, Thinking of ZZ and all the family and hoping ZZ is doing well. xx

I am sorry to have to tell you all that ZZ has been rushed back into hospital. She is on drips etc and has lost 2.2 Kilo which I think is about 4.5 pounds. She is extremely frail and the family, that is her parents are with her.

I will be back tomorrow.

Oh bless her, how sad. I hope she and the family enjoyed the time they had at home recently even if short and that the doctors can work some miracles again for this dear little fighter.

My goodness, I had not thought that so many would reply so quickly, thank you.

I am shocked that the weight loss is so high and even checked with my sister that this was correct. There are times when I just wonder how much more can ZZ fight for her life. Is that a wrong thing to say?? I hope that you all understand what I mean.

Gerard, Keep the Faith, is such a good thing to hope for but there are times when we just cannot understand why such tragedies occur. The meaning of life is very complicated.

However, I still say my prayers and keep my positive thoughts, just as everyone on this thread do, in one way or another.

I will try to speak to my sister later this morning. Just had a thought about Guardian Angels, are Guardian Angels really our friends who care as much as all of you do?

So sorry to hear little Z is back in hospital - poor little girl she is suffering. Still in my thoughts and prayers - also her mommy and daddy and all the family.

Sorry I didn't catch this yeaterday. So sorry little one is back in hospital. But maybe it is a good sign that she ate some baked beans, lots of goodness in them. That is a lot of weight to lose so i hope she manages to put some on fairly quickly. Holding her in my thoughts.

As you said, it's a lot of weight for her to lose, Let's hope that she will now be able to eat a bit more and hopefully regain the weight.

Hadn't been on the boards for a couple of days, so only just seen that Little ZZ has been rushed back into hospital.

So sorry to hear that she had lost so much weight.
But eating baked beans in the night sounds like a midnight-feast!
The girl still knows how to party!!!

I don't really understand about Guardian Angels, but am comforted by the thought of them.

I think of a wonderful friend of mine who died a few years ago, Ivy, as The Angel on my Shoulder.

She looked after me in life, and I reckon that she still looks after (or out for ) me now.

Well it doesn't matter what time she eats as long as she is taking nourishment and I hope she manages to continue to eat and will put some weight back on and keep fighting. She is certainly a little character and seems to say Don't write me off yet! Another memory for the family, midnight feast of baked beans.
