I know it happens to us all but even when you've been chatting over the years with people you have never met, you are still very sorry when they pass on. My sympathies to Jim's family. xxxx

"I remember Jim from the earlier days of GR. At the time I was going through some kind of teenage angst phase and he gave me some good advice. He said he had a book which would cheer me up. I still have the book and the note it came with. I remember him as a very kind and genuine person".
