I'd have a sandwich for you Dizzi - I love it too - but I don't have any bacon at the moment. I'll have a bacon butty as soon as I get more. In fact, I'll have two - one for me and one for you. |

Doesnt matter if you dont need food at that moment, just to smell bacon makes you feel hungry. Now, I like mine crisp, luckily so does OH. Thats what we are having today for lunch, egg, bacon and fried bread, or bread and butter. Its too much to eat at breakfast nowadays. |

Steak and Kidney Pie Tonight, Delish. Bacon best grilled unless home cured, the stuff they sell in the shops now has loads of water pumped into it. :-S ;-) |

You guys are making me hungry, having a late tea of Liver and Bacon casserole, with mashed pots, don't have it often, as oh is not fond of liver, and daughter can't stand it, it's almost ready, I can't wait! |

Get to a butcher once a month for supplies. Bacon doesnt keep that long unless frozen. I give my rashers about 2mins in the microwave and then into the pan. That gets rid of a lot of the water. have the pan on anyway for the eggs. |
