I have just heard Matt Cardell warbling his "long awaited for" single.

Its dreadful and the video is pretty dire as well.

This seems to happen to the x-factor winners, they are normally pretty good and then some record company gets their hands on them :-|

Funny how songs stick in your head. The one I can't get rid of today is Hole in My Shoe by Traffic from way back

. . . I looked in the sky where an elephant's eye was looking at me from a bubblegum tree . . and all that I knew was, a hole in my shoe that was letting in water, letting in water (or something like that).

I love 'Whiter Shade of Pale' - takes me right back to the happy days of 1967 (not pregnant by the way, Mollyannbythesea :-D )

LOL friends of ours many years ago had "Whiter shade of pale" played at their wedding...........
sadly the organist wasnt quite up to speed on it and the rendition would have made a great OOPs tv howler!!

It has to be Whiter Shade of Pale for me. I was pregnant and still feel queasy when it's played. Though that's not too often these days, thank goodness.
