I can't stop thinking about Deanna and wish I was near enough to pop in and see her - she has been such a friend to me and we had such hilarious phone calls. I wish I could talk to Tony but I daren't call him as I think he will break down, and I would too. I realised on Sunday when I phoned him and caught him unawares (he couldn't tell me much then as he hadn't told Deanna and naturally felt he should tell her first before telling others of the latest details) that he was just holding it together and that's why he texted me last evening. Allan must be so worried and will be missing her from their home already, no one to keep him in line now.

I do hope the doctors are giving Deanna better pain relief so she doesn't have to suffer and that things will go gently for her.

So much loved Deanna, and there was you saying nobody cared - we know you didn't really think that and now if these messages get to you, you will know people do care. You touched so many people....

Very sorry to read the update. i havent spoken to Deanna on the boards but have read her lovely imputs and all the friends she has on here.

My thoughts go to her and her family that she may kept as comfortable as possible.

Liz thank you for the update. I'm so sad to hear this latest update. I miss Deannas wonderful sense of humour which came across in her emails most days. I know she thinks the world of her family, and they of her (myself included) She always loved their visits.
It's comes a bit of a shock Liz, a lady I love. Over the last few years she has been part of my life for that I am lucky. Through tears I think of Deanna and hope she is kept out of pain.

Deanna you know how much I will miss you. You have been the bestest friend that I have ever had. I will never forget you and I hope you go to a better place with dignity and pain free You were my cyber friend and I am by your side holding your hand. Sending a big gently (((((((((HUG))))))))))

Thank you for the update Liz, a very sad one as you say.

Our poor Deanna, she has been through so much and has always been such fun on the boards, I have never met her but I love her to bits.

I am so sorry that she is so ill and can only hope that she is being well looked after in hospital and that she is able to know how much her friends love and miss her.

I am so very sad to read this news about Deanna, and we have swopped posts over the years where her humour and goodness shone through. I send my most positive thoughts. BCXX
