(Can we keep this nudged up please?)

I and others have been concerned about our lovely pal Deanna, and the fact that we didn't hear from her after we sent her flowers and I couldn't get an answer on the phone was worrying.

I have just rung her son as I had his number from when I visited Deanna and he came to guide us to her house after the Sheffield meet in May.

Sadly Deanna is very poorly in hospital and has been there for some days.
Tony said she had to go in shortly after the flowers were delivered but they did cheer her up and he will pass on my message of positive thoughts and love which I presumed to say was from all her friends here.

He had been meaning to put on a thread but hadn't got round to it, so I asked if it was ok to put this up.

Tony will keep in touch and let us know how things go and if he doesn't add to this thread I will add if he phones or texts me.

Let's all send the strongest of positive thoughts for our Deanna, and hope she will be feeling better soon and back home again to keep her hubby and Tony in order.

Very sad Update - Monday evening (15th) :

Last evening I had a text from Tony to let me know that our poor Deanna has cancer in both lungs and her liver, and probably elsewhere in her body. Sadly she can't walk and is a bit confused. It's possible that Deanna might go into a hospice but will be unlikely to go home again.

I know everyone will be heartbroken at this news and will feel for all Deanna's family and friends. Tony will keep me updated and/or post on here if he can find time, when he will copy out messages to pass on to Deanna if she is well enough to take them in. Naturally he is devastated, as I was to read the news. Life is so unfair and I can only hope that Deanna will be kept as painfree as is possible and will know how much love surrounds her and how much we all miss her.

No more now, I can't stop crying.

Liz thank you for letting us know i was going to ring her today ,as when i spoke to her last thursday she was realy not well at all
