I know that I have not been back on here for a couple of days but I have been praying for Deanna. I have never spoken to her but she is so clearly loved, as expressed in the messages.

I pray now that she is pain free, cared for with respect and knows how much her family care and love her. Then I hope that the wonderful accolades of her kindness to others, including myself are twirling above her in the ether to help her in such sad times.

I haven't heard anything from Tony so just hoping he is spending lots of time with Deanna or his Dad and perhaps making arrangements with the hospice so no time to get in touch.

I can't stop thinking about you, Deanna and hope you are comfortable and as painfree as possible. I am sure if you can you will be making the nurses and docs smile at times, have you called anyone eedjit yet?

Deanna, (((((hugs)))))) was shocked yesterday when Liz wrote me to say that you were so very poorly.
I did not know you as well as some members here, but enjoyed your chats about how Tony was when he went on holidays. Thinking of you and your family at this very difficult time.

Liz, I was so sorry to read your update on Deanna, it's such a shock.

Although I only ' spoke ' to Deanna a few times, so don't know her as well as all her friends on here do, she was always very nice and friendly.

I hope that they can keep Deanna comfortable and that she does not suffer too much. Thinking of her and her family at this awful time.

Deanna is lovely lady im glad i had the privilege of having you for afriend,and that i got to talk to you before you went into hospital i do hope they can ease your pain and that you are confortable as can be ,thinking of you my friend and Allan and Tony, and what did i tell you that you had more friends than you thought,well love there all here some you knew some you did,nt my OH misses your sense of humour you always made him laugh thinking of you all

From Eileen who has always been in touch with Deanna.

It's been a long time since I contacted you. Am not on GR much these days, but do read certain threads now and then.
This morning, I was shocked and deeply saddened by the awful news about Deanna, can hardly take it in.I tried adding to the thread, but it doesn't appear, so am hoping you will be so kind as to add something for me?
My half-yearly sub was due, received a reminder, sent this through to my old schoolfriend in the UK, because she uses her card to pay for me, (I send her the money for this and other things)but there is always a problem on GR's
end, they keep saying her card is not valid or such words, when it IS.Very annoying, so now I can't add anything, just read.

Deanna & I have exchanged many, many mails, she is always cheerful, warm-hearted, honest and always ready to listen and give advice, something I certainly need since Christmas....I know we will all miss her sense of
humour too, even though she was in a lot of pain sometimes,she can always find the right thing to say to try cheer you up, always a good listener.Am being selfish when I say this, because Allen and Tony are desperatly upset, to say the least, they are the ones who will miss her deeply, the ones who will have to come to terms with her great loss.
I can only say I hope she is kept as pain free as possible, and that she, Allen & Tony find the strength and peace of mind to deal with this terrible illness...it is so unfair when she has gone through so much already....

I will send a mail on her normal e-mail address, maybe Tony will read that sometime in the future.
