Thinking of you Deanna and praying you are pain free and comfortable. There are so many of your friends sending their love to you I am sure you can feel it surrounding you.

I don't ring Tony as I know he has a lot to deal with but text him every couple of days to jog him for info if he has time to pass it on and to let him know we are thinking about him. I am sure we will hear if Deanna is moved to a hospice or home but I think they will be doing a little pain relief treatment first perhaps.

I am sure all our thoughts are getting through to Deanna somehow, and she will know she is loved.

I did pop a card in the post yesterday so it should be at their home today and they can take it in when they go, not sure where Allan would be staying, maybe at the hospital or with Tony, or going home.

Lovely visions, Joyce, I am sure Deanna will feel you with her.

As always I am thinking of you Deanna, and hoping you are having a restful comfortable night, not too much nattering from the nurses' station, after all, who wants to hear all about their holidays or in my case on one hospital stay, all about one nurse's baby's birth! It might be their daytime but night is when you need your rest (unless you are me lol) and it always seems far too early when the lights go on and the ward wakes up. The tea trolley is usually welcome but that's about all.

I also hope Allan and Tony are able to rest and gather themselves ready for whatever today brings.

Just seen this thread. So sorry to hear this sad news about Deanna, a lovely lady.

I hope that her pain is bought under control. and that she is able to be part of the decision making process.

Well I could come visiting and sneak into your ward Deanna, climb into bed with you and catch up on all your witty jokes which I have missed so very much, I could update you on Toby and his latest antics then sneak to the nurses kitchen and make us both toast and tea, lovely..but knowing our luck we would get caught out but it would have been worth it, yes...am thinking of you lass and hoping you are fast asleep and having sweet dreams, of creamy cakes and pink ice-creams xx I myself am going back to bed to send you loads of cyber hugs and to hold you hand, hope you can feel my gentle touch, am with you all the way..Love and miss you lass, your Joyce xxxx

Eileen so pleased that you can at least get on here for now. Hope they solve the problem quickly when your friend gets back to deal with it.

Ann I think that's what happened. Deanna had a fall a short while back and I think she put a lot of things down to that, altho I remember her saying her family made her get checked out. I think she also said to me, Typical women, we push our menfolk to see the doc but don't look after ourselves so she had probably been that way herself.

I hope she has had the scan today altho it won't have been very comfortable for her and that it will help the doctors direct the radiotherapy and pain relief.

I think Tony is still too busy to look for 'the threads' as he calls them but I have sent him a link to the boards and hope he can get the messages copied soon to show Deanna we are thinking about her (and talking about her, wonder if her poor ears are burning.)
