Sylvia, I am so pleased things have gone so well for you thus far and hope you will indeed need no radiation or other treatments now. You made a brave decision and I can only admire you for it. I watched a programme on tv recently where a mother and daughter had both breasts removed as there was a genetic link to breast cancer, so many women in their family had suffered previously so they decided to lessen all risks by having mastectomies before anything developed. They were so incredibly positive and you have been the same. Hope the medication can help with the spinal problems so you can be mobile and painfree with no other worries hanging over you now. |

Dear Sylvia I hope things will continue to go well. How wise to have opted for the mastectomy. |
