Oh Janey you poor old thing. Never mind, the nice doctors will fix you up and put a comfortable cast on your poor sore leg. Everyone you know will be able to write their name on the cast, and decorate it with pretty pictures.

I hope you are back on both legs before too long and wish you a speedy recovery from this unfortunate misadventure.

Lots of hugs and best wishes and I hope the needles don't hurt too much.

Oooer. There's a name we haven't seen for a while on here!

Not sure how she would (if she were here of course), respond to be called a 'poor old thing' though! I thought everyone knew she was a woman in her Prime! Certainly couldn't be beaten at the research game.

Sorry to hear about her mishap......I bet she's not enjoying the inconvenience it must be causing her.

Wishing her a speedy recovery and hoping that the surgeon has a steady hand!

Cx :-D

She never does anything by halves, does she? Tsk, tsk ;-)

Lets hope they put a big arrow with 'this one' on the correct leg!

Hmmm and not like my daughter's experience when she broke her leg. Went back to hospital for a check up and when the doctor for that day looked at her medical report he glanced down at her leg in plaster and said, "This is interesting, you have broken your left leg, this report said it was your right leg. Must be your left leg that's the one in plaster"!!

Well she was in her storeroom/garage Renes... do you think she may have a secret supply hidden there?

I don't think she likes this lying down and resting lark - the break is just above the ankle .. she will be able to look forward to break dancing on crutches.

Hmm.... bet she gets some dishey (not pyrex) orthopaedic surgeon... ;-)

And there's me not really interested in illness threads lol

Please do send Janey my best wishes and hope that she's on the mend soon.

I haven't seen her on here in ages. I do hope that she's otherwise well!

Well, that explains a lot Jax. Almost equates to me breaking my own nose, for which I got an award.

Said nose came under fire again 3 months ago, when I tripped over an empty cigarette packet on the floor that seemed to present itself as being a shoebox. It was just inside the kitchen door, and I was waltzing in from the hallway, so I tried to side-step said huge fag packet and ended up on the floor. Said nose commenced objecting and 4 hours later (now being on tablets that thin the blood), I was just about compos mentis again.

Who would have a nose? Most inconvenient things. Can one have a nose-ectomy?
