Jean I can use my fingers as before, they just tingle and feel numb.

I hope you back is better.. do you have a mouse you can attach to your laptop, I find it so much easier when I use hubby's.. especially in your case if you have to use it at arms length. I only play music DVD's on my ancient PC as I am not a film buff anyway.

Glad you found the photos Ann, you have a few yrs on me,( no disrespect ) I hope in a few yrs I look as good as you do now lovely lady.

Must start the food, one fed and watered and off to work, 2 on their way home.

Sandie, I hope that the use comes back in your fingers. It would be a shame to go through that for nothing.
I have an x-ray scheduled for the 26th on my back. I am contemplating taking the morphine i was given for pain relief, but so far have managed to avoid it. I am lying on my back using my laptop and its not easy at arms length! Just astonished my OH with the fact that laptop can play DVD's. He didnt realise I had that on there! Good picture too.

Arm is fine , but there is no difference in my fingers yet.:(..... Hope you're right with the 'disturbed flesh' Jean, I hope your back is improving:)
I suppose we all think we are not photogenic, what we see in the mirror is not what comes out on camera.
An exception for me ....I loved my wedding photos::))) ... one photo they had printed the wrong way around, and I could tell immediately , and the photographer reprinted it.
I think you all look fab on the Aber photos :)

AnnGG .....l spose none of us are photogenic, but me thinks all the photo's are very good, even ones of me which is unusual..lol, although l'm too fat..lol

have no idea how or where to look at the blog - and I do not believe there are any nice photos of me - I don't do nice photos - only from the back!!!!

Morning all:o)

Still with sister, going home this afternoon and probably back tomorrow or Fri. Her son is here tonight and again tomorrow night after work, the other son here for weekend.

Sandie...hope it settles down for you, as Auntie Jean says it will take time to heal. Think positive:o))

We could always have a mini mini meet just for coffee or summit, anytime:o)

The Surgeon said I could take take the crepe bandage off in 2 to3 days, but didn't write it on my notes ,When I saw the nurse afterwards she was doubtful cos there could a risk of infection, so I said I was happy to leave it on for longer, so she put down 4 days. It had got all loose this morning so I went to my DR's and the nurse has redressed it from my wrist up to way above my elbow.
Th op was on my elbow ,so the bandaging doesn't need to be down to my wrist , and I am suppose to keep it dry..so no washing up for me for a week or so:))

Sandie, give it time. It can take a while for disturbed flesh to recover. Hope it turns out to be successful.

Op and recovery went fine Anne bur not sure of the result yet, still have the same feelings in my hand !.. Slightly better, but tut the surgeon did say point out the problems on the day that it could be a failure.

Yes the Auberge was very pleasant and it would be lovely to see the same faces and more if possible.. very enjoyable.

[trust you had a good time in Tenerife Ann]

I had my op on my elbow on Mon. I had G A and the surgeon said I he gave me local in the elbow but as yet it only a little improvement.
Have to keep my arm? hand elevated .Have to see the practice nurse at my Drs in 2 weeks and then the Out Patients Clinic in 6 weeks
Hope your sister is better Jude..don't know what other problems she may have, she didn't look too well ,but it's very hard to loose ones husband even after a short number of years, but I guess she married for a number of yrs..you said she was older than you, I've been married for 35 yrs. I guess hers was what longer than mine.

Was a good day, yes the manager will love to see us back at the Auberege :)

Most of July is OK at the moment although will be away one weekend.
