Hi

Just having a rest from packing boxes.

Spoke to Duane(son)last night found out it was 10.30 Thrusday night they took twins to hospital, found a ward they can go on at 9pm last night.So was in A&E all that time.But at least stayed in a hospital near home. Doctor is due round again later so hope to have some good news. Its all to do with this Bronchiolitis they have. I google it and there is no treatment for it. I had never heard of it be for.

Hello everyone, I hope you are all warm and snug indoors?
Its been blinking cold! I am finally getting over that horrid head cold but still have a nasty cough and my chest isn't right as yet, but then thats asthma for you.
I hope you're all getting sorted for Christmas, my oh is finishing work on the 14th so we have loads to do after that, I have ordered the turkey and I had a huge meat delivery today from my butcher, so thats all sorted until the end of January.
Just presents to buy and wrap, although I have bought a few already. Only 2 extra for Christmas dinner, my mum and my father in law, its going to be a hard Christmas for him, we lost mum in law last Feb so this is the first Christmas without her. I just hope he won't be too upset.

Hello to all

Dolly, I do hope that you are able to overcome your cough in time for Christmas. There is nothing worse then feeling poorly when everyone else is enjoying themselves. I also hope that your FIL is able to enjoy the Season despite his sad loss.

On a totally different tack (no pun intended) we watched the toal lunar eclipse happen last night. I thought that it had happened on Friday night but as usual I got it wrong. My daughter phoned to let us know. Awesome

May not be on tomorrow as the electrician will be here to fit the new powerboard etc

Hi all

Twins was taken off oxygen and doing ok so they maybe going home today.Just hope its not to early this time to send them home.

I am over doing again,but needs to be done.Had bit of help this morning (as now have my cooker hooked up now). I just dont know how they going to do it all, Got settee and everything on top of it in the middle of room.Got to move my bed somewhere yet.Can do with out this stress.But it will look good when its all done

I will not be having any decor up this year.Get some santa skickers on the windowns. Cant even put me cards up :-(

Well going to shut up now had me moan. So will go and carry on.

Twins are home now. Have to have oxygen every 8 hours, which they have at home now.

I have just baked a cake for the first time since i lived here.
Boy it do smell nice. I only had a electric cooker and never could get on with it.So now my gas cooker been hooked up i am trying out.

Well workman you have missed out today. Just hope they start here tomorrow.

Hazel I'm pleased to hear that the twins are back home'

We had the electrician here yesterday but he could only do some internal work, not the major outside stuff as we had heay rain and thunderstorms.

Now that we have a new socket fitted I can think about puting up the Christmas tree.

Forecast for Christmas day is for temps of 26C, very pleasant.

yes the decs and tree are now in place and OH is now working

Hello all

OH bought a floral decoration which lights up. This basic descriptiomn makes it sound a bit naff but it is actually very nice.

Long story short; we had to rearrange our longe/dining room to put it in an area most siuted for it. Result? one totally different layout of our furniture for the first time in many years.

Christmas tree also put up but now in the entrance hall.

It's amazing what you can do when you have a socket put on a wall where previously there wasn't one :-)

Hi all

Had doctors this morning at 7.10 gave me stronger pain killers for my neck. So far there working. So at least i can move my head without it killing me.

Its nice and sunny here. But cold, and i am freezing as workman(only sent one bloke to do all the flat)has painted front door and windows so have windows and door open.

Good to have your presents sorted, Barbra.

I wasn't on for the last couple of days as it was my Lodge Cgristmas meetung yesterday. In early to help set up. The meeting finished at 11.30 pm so didn't get to bed until 01.00 this morning. Then back out this morning at 06.00 am to clean up and return borrowed furniture.

Marion, you are all invited to my place for a Party. Just bring food and plenty of money :-D
