Marion my OH was the same no interest in garden
but looked after grass, which was fine by me as he
thought everything was a weed.Barbra hanging
baskets are lovely, used to cram loads plants in
mine and they looked great.Beautiful day here also
and Rory is having a madder in the garden, spring
is in the air.lolx

Not been on much as it's my Granny duties day :))

I'm hoping it does rain tonight as I spread some feed on the grass this am,while my superviser sat in her buggy and watched. Only tool a few minutes. Decided as the spreader I have leaves lines so I took a chance and just scattered by hand.

Hi all

Unfortunately OH is a bit poorly. Went into hospital yesterday (Wednesday) for a knee operation. It was supposed to be a day procedure. Went in at lunch time.

I got a phone call from the hospital that the operation went fine but OH had a reaction to the anaesthetic so they were keeping her in overnight. I will be off soon to pick her up at 7.30 am.

Otherwise, all normal in this neck of the woods. Weather has turned a bit cooler but then it is Autumn

Emma ,you dont get a lot of time with the wee one,she is on the move the whole time. Other two were never like that lol.
Got the other two tomorrow all day then the wee one overnight. she does sleep 7-7am tho....usually.

Thanks on behalf of OH for your good wishes

OH is now home and feeling better (except for a sore knee) I picked her up from the hospital at 7.30am yesterday (Thursday) as she did not go on to a general ward but was kept in the Day Procedure Area as they can now cater for overnight cases like OH's.

Fantastic staff and service from the hospital, except for one miserable receptionist! We even got a phone call from the hospital in the afternoon to follow up on OH and make sure that she was ok and actually moving about, presumably to avoid things like blood clots etc.

OH was a public patient but i doubt whether she would have had any better treatment as a private patient.

OH had to sleep downstairs last night as she was advised to avoid climbing stairs for a couple of days

Great news about your Oh Allan.
It makes a big differnece when you have nice caring staff.A lot of the times they are too busy.

I was in last year as a day patient staff were really great explained everthing really well to me etc.I had no worries atall.
