I heard that today...the only one he didn`t win was the first week when Mary came top.

Think this proves Matt was a really strong contender from the start.... I think he comes across as a really nice grounded unassuming bloke......hope he has a huge music career ahead of him.....I for one would definetly buy his album.

Good to know he had also spent years doing the rounds singing at pubs and clubs..... learning his craft the old fashioned way....all the big acts including Rod
Stewart and Elton John did that in their early days,........... that somehow makes him an even more deserving winner........ .....

The week by week voting poll was revealed on Xtra Factor last night, it showed Matt got the most votes every single week, he won by a landslide,,,,rightfully so,much deserved.

They both sang brilliantly tonight, Rebecca probably abit better cause of Matts sore throat!!

They will both go far, as will One Driections:o)

They were both good. I preferred Rebecca before the result but Matt sang the song better after he'd won. I think that they will both definitely be making an album. Rebecca has the sort of voice that will go on for years, she is more than a pop star.

One Direction became the backing singers for Robbie - how was it a duet? The little blond one who looks about 14 is such a cocky little so and so. I don't like, but then I'm not a teeny bopper:-)

I think Rebecca is by far the best but how was Christina Aguilera duetting with her? Rebecca, as ever, looked classy while Christina looked like an over blown strumpet. Not a good match.
