I've not gone down the Midlands after all. Chickened out as I hate motorways and Son's driving. So may be able to go with Mau if she is still able, to check out the Wetherspoon's meeting Rooms. But I am sure they will be fine.

I will leave it until Monday to give any others that has shown an interest, to confirm that they are able. Will also give Kim a phone call tomorrow to check that she can make it. I really mean to tell her she has to come. Then I will put a new thread up to announce a definite date, place and time.

Will let you into a little secret now. Kim was the first person I ever met from GR or then Genes Connected. I had never ever met anyone from the internet. My children were horrified. All I got was "But Mam what if She is a He." Naive as I was then, I even suggested that we could let her have our spare bedroom for the night.

I will not tell you why Kim declined the offer of a bed. But it did involve needing an En -Suite bathroom for when she got up, before she could show her face.
May tell all at the meet?????
