Keeping with the numbers theme:

"007 1/2" ?

or perhaps "Red"? lol

Because from this I think you're getting "delusions of grandeur " ;)

"Just think....one day you will all be able to have the claim to fame that you knew of a person on here who's name was Susanwithnumbers and who's dog won at Crufts......sigh! with nose in the air!"

I think you should call him Scruff ;)

xx

Perhaps she should call him "Numbers", then when we see her on Crufts, we can say "look there is Susanwithnumbers!" lol,

PMSL at SRS - "Numbers" - great idea! That gets my first vote.

Snufflebum gets my second vote.

*$parkling $andie* Report 31 Jul 2010 21:53

I've had a Trix, a cross but like an elk hound, he was born a week before me, my parents had his mother, he was stupid with children as my sister is 4 yrs older than me and he was used to kids. He was black and white and had a huge curly white tail, so beautiful.
Then I had a Trixie, he was MY dog, black and brown cross breed, I swapped my 3 wheeler bike for him when I was 10. I broke my heart when he was knocked down and died 10 yrs later.
Bengo was my next, his mother was a stray that had the litter in my friends garden, unfortunately he was a scitzo (sp) and when I married a yr later he stayed with my parents, and he turned on my dad ( who had dogs all his life) so I'm afraid I had no choice but to have him put to sleep:(
When my mother died in 1991 I persuaded my dad to had another dog, he said he couldn't manage a puppy, so we went to the rescue centre and had a golden lab cross, they thought he was about 18 months old( some hateful barstool had thrown him out ), and he lived to the ripe old age of 18. I had him for his last 5 yrs as dad wasn't able to walk him any longer. He was already named as Sandy !
Hope you as much fun and love from your dog as I've had from mine.
Sandie.

Now I have thought hard on this ....this comes from somebody who's dogs are called Mini and Minx ...OH's names not mine.

red is a good name but so is Foxy .
I actually do believe that he will name himself with in a week ...Minx is called hooli or asbo and does answer to hooli. But we had to name her within 2 hrs of finding her for the vet.
