Did I say the other day .....one of my dreams was that Ted Danson (he was in Cheers) was my Birth Father ? lol.Lord knows where that came from I actually used to quite fancy him.I have no idea who my Father was.He was probably some Fly by night lolol
Catie ,talking of hair do's and things for dogs,I went to Tokyo a couple of years ago and I went into a shop that just sold things for pets.I was horrified. There was all sorts of outfits, jewelery ,hair products, you name it they had it..Not to mention the pet shop I saw. These poor little dogs in 'fish tank'things in the window.I think I have photos on my computer of them. One poor little fellow had no room to even stretch out.I will say no more other wise I will be right up on my soapbox lol

don't know Jane i've always said that --so must be Scottish??

Catie it was a home rem ---and it said to use this type of spry because it was natural and water based no harm to the pet--And I tried it on mine it worked -------lolxxx

Jane...... The mind boggles when you think about the way in which people keep animals. A few years ago I was staying in a hotel in the suburbs of Paris. Nearby was a complex of shops. One eve I went for a walk and passed what I thought was a hairdressers and then in the front window was a cage. I stopped and noticed that there were six or seven kittens - all needing homes. What upset me was that one of them was disabled - had a deformed leg and I just wanted to go and rescue him. Poor little soul. The cage was so small and because he wasn't very mobile, he was having problems.

I always get upset if there is anything bad or sad about animals Catie. In yesterdays local paper the headline was "Horse Dies in Horrific Crash".I got my son to tear it out of the paper so that I couldn't see it.I know that sounds extreme, but I could not read the paper knowing I would see that article. If OH knew I had got James to rip that out he would have thought I was bonkers lol.
I don't like the way my neighbour keeps their chickens!!I'll say no more other wise my soapbox will be getting higher and higher lolol.I might fall off.

I used ninny a lot in the old days too and I'm not a scot!!! and nincompoop. My dad always said it and mum.

I watched big brother tonight because OH told me Josie had left the house. Mum came out of the lounge to go to bed and I missed it when she came out!!!!!!!! She does that to me every time I am watching a film or a program and I miss the ending!!!! Blast...............................

Night night all I am going in the shower now.

Jane: Try 'Rootschat' for your research. I've got on really well with them; very, very, helpful and easy to get on with even if you post things that are fairly obvious!! and even asking the same question twice, as we all do at times! doesn't seem to faze them, patience seems to be their bye-word, throughly reccommend the site.

Lovely sunny day, keeping finger crossed it lasts. housework to do this morning then off to daughter no 1 house to babysit as she has an appointment at the local job centre just the usual signing on and looking for jobs, she has to go every friday for the next 6 weeks, so I think I will go with her and stop off at the shops while she goes to her appointment.

Morning Elizabeth and Fiona and All,

Well it's not raining at present but I think it has in the night.

Three of my SIL's are coming down for the weekend for a girly get together. Trouble is I don't know if they are coming today or tomorrow!! Have'nt heard from them at all.

Elizabeth I have never tried Rootschat.

A friend put me onto them, as I was searching Military Records, and one search led to another! It's completely free (!!) and nothing seems too much trouble however obscure. Well worth a look at!!!
