Ive ticked a box but not a proper one. We did a mock election at college, but its not the same is it? Will be 18 in December so just missed out on the real election! :(

I haven't been yet, walked passed with the dog before but didn't go in, will do soon though.

Did ours days ago with postal vote. The last few days electioneering was wasted on us!

Did mine on the way to work!! I have voted in every single election I have been able to, I think its important although it was a bit iof a hobsons choice this year!!!!

haha jen, thats what happens here they all end up gossiping,

just a short walk to the Church Hall and cast my vote
met up with a few neighbours and caught up with the local gossip

im the same kate i dont do polititcs, so dont listen to all the hype, id love a break down for the youngsters, thats to the point and not waffle lol x

haha ill take mam n dad they know what to do, im still unsure who im picking yet haha x

I'm going out to do it shortly. Parents are away and sister never votes so I feel obliged to.

Although, I did think my sister had a valid point when she said that she didn't want to vote because she didn't understand what any of the politicians were going on about in the first place. And now I'm starting to wonder if politics has been missing a trick and not making themselves appeal to younger voters in a relatable way. (My sister has been old enough to vote since the last General Election so, if you look at it from a marketing angle, they've had all that time to convince her to vote for them and it has failed.)

So what are they doing wrong? Or should we get a brief run-down of politics and how it works at school in PSE or sixth form (in General Studies etc) so older teenagers know how it works and find it relevent for when they can vote?

Stray, just dont do what I did and walk straight up to the voting bit without telling them your here and collect your form to tick lol, theres me stood wondering why there was nothing to write on haha x
