ROFL, well you can't mistake me now can you? To agree with TW, at meets you just have to leap in with both feet (or limp in with one), I had only met Daff, Stray and Foggy before but because we all speak with so many people on here it is like meeting 'old' friends.

Blushes more than muffy* When I first walked in and saw Sue and hubby, I rushed over to say hello......to Trisha and Monty. Then someone introduced Muffy to Sue and hubby. (Trisha and Monty hadn't got there yet.)

But that's the thing about meets Jane, we might not have met face to face before, but we are not strangers by any means.

I was a newbie at an English meet :-)) and I behaved myself! Now when it comes to the meets in Wales, that's a whole different story..lol

I think it's good that you can share photo's amongst yourselves. Often I would love to see what you all look like, especially having fun !

wmsl..... well it is growing back nicely.... and TW... 21 minutes??? It took me almost that to send 3 yesterday, lolol.

Still haven't got around to it..... yet another family phonecall.... I have talked non stop to 3 of my brothers, my father, then my mother, the one brother times about 4... and then the sisters started. All bar one have phoned... and my niece from West Wales......

I am waiting for Uncle Tom Cobbley.

Meanwhile, R is doing a stirling job with the vacuum cleaner, lolol ;¬))

Wmsl at Julia... not blonde, lol.... my hair was very very black when I was younger, my eyebrows still are (we won't mention the tache, which I had gotten rid of, lol) and I once had an attempt at a blonde streak when I was around 25 or so... it was a disaster. It went a very brassy yellow.

I am working in me greenhouse, and it is only because I have had to come up the yard to spend a penny, that I have had another look at this thread.
I can confirm that Muffy did not have a poodle perm on the day, but it wasn't doing a very good job at growing out.LOL
Daff, you were the surprise, only in that, I somehow had pictured you as sort of blondish, with grey tones.LOL. But, you had the same stature and build as I had thought, and I must add, just like myself.
Everybody else, I thought you all looked lovely, and you were enjoying yourselves so much.
Now, it is possible for me to picture all you lovely creatures, when I am on your threads, which for me, is very helpful.
Just a little anetdote here. Years ago, when I was working, I did as part of my job, speak by phone in those days, to reps. all over the country. One was called Tiny Tim. Imagine my surprise when they all turned up at the AGM, and Tiny Tim was 6ft 4ins tall, and about as far across, and built like a brick ******. But he was lovely and had a very gentle nature.
And now that I have seen you all, and even though I did not make it to the meet, I feel that I know you all.
