Havn't read all the posts on here, but have hazzarded a guess at BC's problem. I have suffered this also. My answer was to have an outside tap put in, where the hose is a permanent fixure. Works for me, our Tommy,

Had an unexpected visit this afternoon from my one and only son. But bearing in mind that he is slightly brain damaged from a road accident twenty odd years ago, but manages to work sometimes, and has his own flat, and can cook very well for himself, I do view his visits with a modicum of trepidation.
So, he had half me fag allowence for the day, two mugs of me best coffee, 'borrowed' £20, and cadged a lift back into town from OH.
Not a bad afternoon's work for him. But I do love him, and he is still me baby, even at 40.
