I so did not lick your ear, pants on fire.... it shouldn't have been that close to my mouth fgs.... it's not like I am quiet, now, is it???? lol

You didn't look ill... you just looked a bit drained and tired at one point... but you were fine after you'd stretched yer legs and waved yer crutch at people.

So... we are stopping off at Susan's next time???? You trip her up, and I'll grab her hair, lolol ;¬))

Sorry Susan with numbers only just seen your post. You're welcome to have the next meet here as long as there aren't more than 6 people coming. If you want to come next month I can easily fit 106 people into our studio apartment with Ann from Glouc and her other half who will be staying in there.!! I'm sure she will be pleased to see you all!

For Ann ...34 degrees at the moment and very sunny

I always look pale and tired Teresa. I need to have slap on or people ask if I'm ill. I don't sleep very well and wake up about 5:30 every morning. Can't lay in bed then cos my hip and leg ache! Could be another Sue with a crutch?

It was a lovely day and I'm glad the sun shone for you all.

To be honest with you Sue, we all looked pale and tired, Hayley and I were saying last night. I think it's the long cold winter we've had. Saturday was the first time for nearly all of us to have spent any time in sunshine.

Hi Ann,

I lived in Cheshunt. My son and dil live in Ware. What with me in March and them in Ware - where? Daft names. And I lived in Otley in Yorkshire till I was 29. Steve used to sing in the clubs around Herts and London too so I know quite a few areas. I want to go back!

I can always use a laugh Teresa, some of us childminders met for a meal in a pub in Pbro last week but only 7 of us, sounds like you had a good turn out.

Small world init TW? The next Peterborough meet we'll stay for 3 nights so I am not so knick knacked for the day itself. Daff keeps telling me how rough I looked (I don't know whether she meant 'like a dog' or 'unwell')...lmao

New Sue will have to come and see people 'in action' so to speak and Susan with numbers will be dragged there by her hair!

Sueping, I didn't know you lived in Sutton! i lived in Witchford for a while when I first got married!

Sue, I'm going to start nagging Muffy about the next meet, we all meet at the station in Peterborough anyway, so the gaggle of women outside having a fag will be us lot. It'll be good to meet you, and you'll have a laugh, that's a promise.

So far the weather has never ever let us down either.

Hi Teresa, I'm in March. I love Ely and Huntingdon. I'd like to go back to Herts but can't afford to buy a house there. Should never have moved away. My in laws lived in Downham Market for years. I'd love to go to the next meet. Thank you.

Mo, I can imagine, I think most of the carers and nurses smoke and kick walls at our home lol. If I could do the job I would, I have a chat (?) with the other residents in Steve's home but of course they can't reply, they usually just smile which is lovely. I just can't deal with the.....poo!! I've been a childminder since 1987 and can do baby poo but not big people poo! Sorry to mention poo!!!! Three of the blokes in Steve's home have alzheimer's and are in their 40's.
