Tried to get on yesterday but GR was very slow.

Whats Gypsy up to?She looks like she has had some work done on her teeth.

Gypsy arrived to 'look after Irene' but constantly dumps Lilly on them and goes out looking for fun, regardless of whose man she has fun with. She doesn't stay long and Irene eventually tells her to go. No more to it than that. I don't know why they brought her back into it.

Yes, Irene does have a wig. I don't like it much but it's a better colour than the real hair. Tidier too.

It's full of lovers' quarrels at the moment. Charlie and Brax lying about the accidents causing trouble between them; Bianca having to tell Liam that she and Heath have been 'together' on TWO occasions - but there's nothing in it (????); and Leah alternately screaming at Miles, then saying 'sorry'. This last one is becoming tiresome.

Yes, Barbra Liam's awake and will recover, but is in a lot of pain with cracked ribs and won't take pain relief as he believes it is affecting his memories. The truth will come out eventually; the poor fellow is so confused right now.

I had a look at Ruby's nose last night but couldn't see anything to make me think it might have been broken. Perhaps it's the way her hair is pulled back - sometimes further than usual - although it's still a mess!

Looks like Liam and Bianca are ON again and from what is being said, I have a feeling that Brax and Charlie might be about to be written out of the show. Oh dear - what will we do if Brax leaves?

Be a shame if they leave .some decent stories round there characters .what would Ruby & casey do

I have to say Barbra, Liam's eyes can't compare with Brax's. He makes acting seem so easy, he a natural and should have a wonderful career ahead of him whether he stays or goes. Ruby is talking about moving to the city after her exams, so that may be how they all leave. Maybe Casey will go with them after he is out of detention.

It has been interesting having the River Boys around - got the place jumping for a while. Wonder how Sasha will cope now that this Stu is so violent towards her???

Both Home & Away and Neighbours are shown here immediately before or after the evening News bulletin. This means that a lot of people actually see it, even if they are not interested in it, and the characters become familiar. They are good 'steps' to being noticed and to moving forward in their acting careers. Unfortunately for those who like to watch the soapies, the actors have to be written out of them when a more lucrative offer comes along, so I suppose we can only wish them good luck.

Sometimes we find them in more refined 'weekly' series - but there are those who go overseas to try their luck or who take on stage work - and we might not see them for years.

Yes, Marion, it all helps their careers. I'd never seen or heard of Daniel McPherson until I saw him do a stint in The Bill as a PC. He came back here and hasn't stopped since - getting good roles in good shows, as well as hosting Dancing w/the Stars.

Yes, Sasha thinks herself so mature and independent, but is showing her innocence by putting up with Stu's rough treatment. Get out, girl! Not that I can see Sid doing much about it - he is really more of a pussy cat than a hero.

Sid's antenna is definitely not tuned in that something is seriously going wrong with Sasha. She's grounded herself and he still doesn't get it. Makes you want to screammmmmmmm, lol.

Horrible that Romeo's sister Mink has turned up again and looking for money. I was so glad when she left before, never dreaming she'd come back to sponge off her brother. Such a nasty character :-|

I think Daniel McPherson was in Neighbours years ago, but I never watched it.

During a commercial break in last evening's episode, we saw a shampoo commercial starring Esther Anderson (Charlie) doing the usual swaying left and right in slow motion so that her hair floated along behind her.

The devil in me wondered why they didn't use Ruby........LOL.

Who knows, Marion. They might have tried that already. The BEFORE would be easy but the AFTER might have been too big a job, that they abandoned it and used Charlie instead!

A good idea, using the actors from the show they are sponsoring - it did make me look twice, because I thought the commerial break must be over. Extra cash for the actor, too. However, although Ruby has a nice face, I do think the hair would be too big a challenge for a shampoo commercial.
