Well my DiL had the hide and audacity to turn up here on Chrissy day with a very large plate of home made truffles. I resisted as long as possible, gave some of them to other family members. However, I only had to put just one chocolate in my mouth and I was doomed!!

Oh dribble, dribble, they were so delicious. All different flavours, some with just a hint of liqueur. Hic! hic! It's all her fault.

And from there it was just a natural progression to other chocolates, nuts, biscuits, and lollies. Absolutely hopeless!! Sighs.........................

I can't eat chocolate very much, cause my face gets to many pimples on it if I do. Very hard for a chocoholic like me.

Morning RMS. Chocolate is as addictive as alcohol or nicotine. Actually it is worse because it tastes soooooooooooo much nicer.

When it comes to chocolate it is won't power you need not will power.

Just received a phone call from the blonde one. Come and pick me up please Mum. She is now safely home. Judging by the half empty vodka bottle she must have had a good evening.

Well I'm off to do some more filing. Almost finished this work garbage.

Hope there's no one on HRHs throne. Lunch time and I rather fancy eating my mid day sandwich sitting on a rather royal chair.

Hmm that's comfy. Could stay here for my afternoon nanna nap as well. Bother the paperwork. Although it is almost completed. Well about half completed. Oh damn back to work.

Does the time change when you edit a post. Let's conduct an experiment in the wee small hours of the morning and this has a fit of the collywobbles. Very slow responding it is!!

Ok No it does not change the time. Oh I see. I can type fast on the new post but have to type slowly on the edit. Never noticed that before. I usually type like I live. Fast with lots of mistakes!!

Oh look it's morning time over there. There must be lots of headaches and rumbly tummies this morning. It is so quiet around this place.

I know. Brilliant idea. I'll be a really good friend and prepare breakfast for you all. Let me see.

We'll start with two or three rashers of bacon, lightly cooked in a little butter. Then two fried eggs each. Yolks still runny and just that little bit of uncooked egg white on the top.

Add to that half a can of baked beans, heated of course. All of this to go on two slices of wholemeal bread which has been fried in the butter left in the pan.

And to wash it down. Ah yes!! There's still half a bottle of champagne and almost a full bottle of lager left over. Will I mix them together. Nope not sure about that. Orange juice and lemonade, yep there's some here. OK mix the beer with the orange juice and the champagne with the lemonade.

There you go. Clang, clang, clag. (Dinner bell). Your breakfast is served, and I am not washing up!!

Rattle, rattle, bang, bang, bang. Thump, thump. Radio turned up VERY LOUD.

Your breakfast is getting cold. TRA LA LA TRA LA LA! Singing very loudly. Spot has just joined in Hooooooowwwwl, oooooowwwwllll , howly howl howl.

I've finished my work work. All I have to do now is pick up all the files and folders from my floor and put them in the car and take them back to work.


If you lot don't hurry up and start brekkie I am going to invite everyone from the Chat board over to Nut Lodge to have breakfast. Can you imagine what fun that would be?????!!

morning all well we had a good start a power cut and the snow is quite deep here Alternator has gone on sons car he thinks so he will struggle to get going today to get back but he is with the AA so he should be ok
,i slept through here as it was so cold i went to bed lol

Thanks for the fry up Aunty, even if it is a bit cold now. Lovely thought though. The flying deposits of food has probably been used as a substitiute for grit on the roads.....not that your cooking is being critiscised, you understand!
