Lol! Do you find you sound more like your parents as you get older? Even some of the phrases they use/d? lol

Scary, isn't it LOL

Especially the "British" phrases. I where those come from. The "Canadian/American" ones you hear all the time.

I know what I mean, but its funny to see people faces.

Morning all, I am old RMS and DET LOL. Thank goodness my children and Grandchildren for that matter have time to get bored. Lots of imagination and crafts etc go on in this household. I have a mud patch for the kids in the garden and a water tray lovely mud pies LOL.

Morning all.

Talking of mud patches. A neighbour is slightly OCD. She hates dirty to the extent that her daughter's wellie boots were polished! This child, having spent her childhood in dread of getting dirty, was until recently a New Age Travellor, an Eco Warrior and had lived in trees - lol

Did you decorate them with mud? lol. My friends and I were more likely to have been playing in the fields or woods....or at each other's houses.

Morning all. Went to bed early last night.

We also played with mud pies and as kids could run around outside in the rain and play in the big puddles of water. At that time we lived where it was warmer. The physical activity of our lives and where we roamed and explored can only be dreamed about by today's children.

And when we had to play inside we had colouring in, and drawing pencils, flour and water paste for sticking and lots of books to read.

Whip and top, drawing patterns in chalk, before spinning them. Making daisy chains, hopscotch. And I remember the drawing books and colouring pencils!!

AuntySherlock Report 28 Apr 2010 09:04

Maz the only solution for your urgency is either to wear more padding in the undergarments or go to the loo more often.

Tell the son the Nut Lodgers said you need a roster for the use of the machine. He can have it between 11.30pm and 7.30am. That gives him 8 hours every day.

Freezing cold wet and windy here. No way will it get to 29, be lucky if it struggles to 22 tomorrow. Ugh I'm tired of winter already and it is only autumn.

Morning all.

Everyone say Ahhh for poor Aunty in the land of 'freezing' temperatures lol! Sounds as if tomorrow will be one of the few days when our weather will be in sync!

Sorry to hear about the break up Maz, but it sounds as if you think it for the best. Now that he doesn't have to spend so much money on entertainment, tell him to start saving for a lap top/PC of his own :-)

BM is considering moving out. He can't make his mind up whether to buy around here, or rent in N London. No attachements, and but all his friends are pairing up and nest making so don't go out as much as they did. Problem child and I have already worked out what we will do with his bedroom lol

How's the patient LG? Is he home yet?
