	Last Mother's Day my hubby asked me what kind of flowers he should get, for my son to give me. I said pink tulips - he got me red carnations!!

	boo i only send a card and flowers Frog and i will celebrate tomorrow as saturday is our day together .He will be a little sad as one of his big cats was killed by a dog last week and it looked like one of mine so he will be sad . We are going to stockton area tomorrow to have a nosey about

	Well, at least they were sort of the right colour, Pauline lol If it's warmed up a bit tomorrow, OH has been instructed he has to help in the garden with the compost heap. I'm sure he would prefer to go for a drive if he has to go outside at all! Hope YG has a good evening with her little ones. Do you think she will have to borrow LG's hoist to get up from the floor again?????

	Dear All Hello Good evening, you lovely lot of fellow nut persons! Hope you are well. Its freeezing here in the East End. Maybe we are going to bypass Spring and head straight for Summer. Dear DET.,.......I have been a flaming red head since I was young. I dyed it as fashion statement, now its to disguise the white hair! Although when it wrong, I was an orange head! 	Morning all. We are in our last warm days. Should be in the low 30s today. Not looking forward to winter at all. Relating to men and flowers - had this conversation with OH earlier in the week. A house in our street has red flowers. OH wanted to put the same type of flowers in our garden. I walked over and had a look at their garden. Identified flowers as petunias. Says I I think they are petunias. The red ones he says. Yes said I, and being a thinking woman went and got the gardening book off the shelf, looked up petunias and showed him the picture. No, not that sort, he said looking at the book's illustration of purple petunias, these flowers are red. You would have been very proud of me. I just said, oh well never mind, was just a thought!!!

	PMSL Aunty my Oh says. It's all green stuff to him and he can't tell a flower from a weed. Guess who does all the gardening around here ?

	You mean flowers come in different colours other than what is in the books !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT IS AMAZING I can't tell what is/isn't a weed either, so that is why my mom does the gardening, shes 81! If you want anything killed, (plant wise) I can handle that, just let me take care of it for a while. Black thumb, thats me.

	morning all my mum was a florist and my dad worked on parks and gardens ,the gene is a little distorted in me cos i like gardens but not the work lol off to asda in a mo not awake yet so will be fun

	Oh, don't do that Pauline! Mind you, I'm just pottering about on here, not doing 'serious stuff'. Glad to hear YG had a good time. OH only takes an interest in the 'lawn' aka moss patch. When it suits him. Which excludes cutting it. We nearly bought a cheap greenhouse today, but decided our garden is too shady. At least I've started off some potatoes in sacks as an experiment.
