OH has been told he will find out whether or not he is still employed.

If he's one of the two on his shift that is made redundant....Next friday will be his last day of work.and we'll be up s*** creek without a paddle.

Soooooooo if I am a bit silly or a bit miserable or another other d*** thing between then and now........that's the reason why.

Despite applying or what SEEMS like a thousand jobs......not one has come back to us yet in the 2 odd weeks we were made aware of it...and it's not bloody fair as he's a good worker and a bloody nice guy..!!!!! But I guess we're not the first and won't be the last.

Anyhow there it is.......sooooooooooo you'll just all have to take me as you find me for now Im afraid lol xx

Muffy, I'll keep my fingers crossed that he keeps his job, or if the worst happens he gets another, preferably better, one soon.

Hopefully it will be good news for you. We were in that situation earlier this year. The company my husband works for had to let go 1/3 of it's staff. Luckily he had a good reputation so was not out of a job.
Hope the same goes for your hubby.

He escaped it this time last year Pat......there's not a fag paper to choose between him and his workmates in terms of productivity and attendance etc. Luck of the draw I fear.xx

I heard yesterday that my job is safe for now, just hope that my company can find a buyer, hubby has been out of work for over twelve months.

What sh***y times we are living in.

Let's hope that 2010 (hard year to type... age thing) is a better year for all of us. Lottery win win would be good... if I could afford it..lol. Dream on.
