morning friends,its dry here so far today although still very cold.not seen any snow drops yet

Afternoon all

We had snow first thing but it soon turned to rain, and all the snow that came down has gone. We still have 'old' piles of snow in the supermarket car parks.. not enough rain to clear them yet !

good afternoon.We have had rain again.Awful grey skies all day.Had a good day though.Church was good and friends grand daughter was christened after so it was lovely too.
Should be ironing but cant be bothered lol xx

Just as well I clicked on, Paula you reminded me I HAVE to iron shirts for hubby, well at least one for Monday, I can do one in about 5 mins so I might as well do 3:))

white showers outside but laying well at the moment

hi there its bright now for a while got live wires so must keep working

wet here although we had hailstones about 4 this morning and sleet around 9.
Caught up with my ironing yesterday although have washed bedding today so will have that to iron tomorrow.

Gosh Paula I iron the least that I can !
I flatten bedding as it comes off the line or the tumble dryer with my hands.
My mil used iron knickers and pants, tea cloths and towels , which I wouldn't dream of doing !
I do iron the duvets if they are a bit creased :))
We've had a slight bit of snow and rain today, it is supposed to be sunny tomorrow !!??

morning its very icy here again have a good day

it was very icy here this morning too.Very slippy underfoot,black ice where the rain had frozen.Not too bad at the moment although the council are outside at this very moment.They must still be short of grit as the stuff they are throwing on the paths outside the shops is like cat litter and ends up like grey mud yuck.
My son had to have one of his dogs put to sleep yesterday.She was a rescue German shepherd around 12 yrs old.She gradually became paralysed in her back legs.The vets did try their best but she didn't improve and as they are moving at the end of the month it was for the best she went now.
I had a few tears remembering how she growled all the time when she first came until she learnt to trust us.Then she became the most loving and gentle creature.I suspect she may have been badly treated by her previous owners.
My son also has a mastiff who was rescued from the same couple and who has had 3 ops and chemo for bowel cancer.He is deteriorating too so the vet might say he has reached the end of the road too.
It's tough to say the least.
