Sunny with blue skies....but - 5 at 9.00am, and don't think it's changed much.

evening we have not had any snow yet

Minus 8 at 8.30, but clear sunny skies, still need my gloves...dare not go out without my gloves.!

It is my next door neighbours youngest dau wedding tomorrow, so I hope it is like this for them..It is going to be cold whatever, just that it's lovely and sunny.

Been snowing since very early, tho we had a gritter come up at midday our road is heavily covered with snow again.
Think is is the same in Cardiff ,so it's a shame neighbours dau didn't have a bright sunny day for their wedding photos :(

We had the gritter up our road 3 or 4 times yesterday and with temp above freezing now ,the road is clear.

I bought salt especially to put on the walk way around the house , cleared the steps down to where recycling bins are. I didn't want to fall down those , there are only 4, but slip on one ...could injure back, head or basically any part of you.
Natural reaction is to put you hands down so save yourself, and I certainly don't want to injure my poor elbow any further.

It was raining at 8 this morning and the temp is above freezing now.
It must have been earlier ,when son went work at 6.20...( he is quiet in the mornings but I always hear the key turning in the lock !.. and he drove straight off ,so there was no frost then )
I know the time cos we have a digital alarm clock radio at my side of the bed.
We bought it in a shop sale, probably 30 yrs ago, no instructions with it.
It's quite slim and not out of place with current fashion designs.
I don't replace for the sake of it . Still functional and stylish, even the kids say so. !!!

Took me ages to get on here,and to all the clicking, I click all of them :-)

Tues is us usually 'me day'..spent the first hour and a half watching the Bomber Boys, documentary, on i Player with Ewan and Colin McGregor, was interesting.
I watched all Ewan' and Charlie Boorman series of The Long Way Around,and The Long Way Down where they went around the world on motorbikes,they were fascinating documentary series.
I better shift myself to do the breakfast dishes before I get on with the rest of my lazy day.

I re-run the Ewan McGregor video series of The Long Way Around on i player as I said yesterday.... it was minus 30 plus in places.

Lovely sunshine but still very cold here.

Snow still lying on my garden , but pavements and roads are clear.

Not looking forward to this freezing rain they have forecast for tomorrow, or we may escape it and have snow instead :-( :-(

we had the freezing rain today it was awful

yes that freezing rain was horrible.Couldnt take the dogs over the field because paths and roads were all black ice so just had to let them into our back. Both of them slipped onto their sides more than once today.

We appear to have escaped the bad weather yesterday . It was a very cold day but quite pleasant .
I heard son scrapping the frost from his windscreen at 6.30 this morning and hubby had to at 8.30. It seems be thawing now, I can hear the water dripping in the downpipes , as I started to type the the gritter went up the road perhaps we are expected more ice and snow today..?!
