	Poor dog just sat whinning lol. everytime the thunder clapped she jumped. She ended up sitting under my legs, not an easy task as they are short and she is a lurcher and not small either. The gardens and parks have had a good battering with the rain...

	I hope it goes round me also as I am frightened to death. I'd normally have a glass of Brandy (small of course) to settle me nerves, but I have the Bishop and his wife visiting this afternoon (sister and brother in law), and can't smell of drink. Me nerves are shredded already as the impending visit is akin to one from Royalty. The jobs I've done this morning would normally take all week, and I think I have earned a glass, never mind the thunder Julia in Derbyshire

	Ohh Julia lol have glass hun just to help settle your nerves then have a mint afterwards lol Better still have a vodka they won't can smell that lol It is lovely and sunny now ground bone dry too

	We in the NE had thunder and lightening on Saturday,in fact the works..huge spots of rain then hailstones,! been red hot since. Strange weather!
