Thanks Kitty and Mummo : ))

She got the wind up a few days ago as baby hadn't moved all day , we had to troop up the hospital for her to be monitored ( everything was ok ) ......the mid-wife got her to drink a really cold cup of water and within a few minutes baby woke up and started kicking ! I'd never heard of that trick before and I've had four babies . I was amazed..........lol

My son was born on a Saturday and does two jobs bless him but his cousin who was born four Saturdays before my lad, has life handed to him on a plate, not fair is it?

Hope little one comes soon, all well and everyone happy.

Enjoy your day in the park.....it's not very nice here on the East coast , I've gone back into long trousers.....lol

Daughter was most grumpy last night , very furrowed brow and plenty of jabbing at " the bump "..........to be honest I'm not looking forward to her getting up this morning..........I'm off to hide in the greenhouse.........lol

Hi Amanda

This brings back some memories of me and my eldest 2 1/2 years ago.

We went for plenty of long walks hoping the exercise and gravity would encourage the baby to enter the world, she was a stubborn little thing still is actually lol

Hope the wait is over soon for you all and good luck to your daughter on the birth of her bundle of joy and the start of her being a mummy herself xxx

Ive just spoken to my eldest she reminded me she drank raspberry leaf tea and she ate fresh pineapple both of which is meant to relax the pelvic muscles.

As for the stubborn grandchild I dont call her the blonde horror for nothing lol

she gives us all alot of joy though :o)

Amanda2003

Amanda2003 Report 4 May 2009 11:58

Jax.........is the Raspberry Leaf tea sold in " normal " shops or is it a health shop I'd need to buy it from ?............we've heard about the Pineapple thing but I think you have to eat seven whole ones in one go.........she isn't up for that.............lol

Kitty...........your slippers sound nice : )) I'll let you know when to start the pacing : )
