Sallie it is so annoying when the medical profession or whatever seem to be dragging their feet isn't it? I hope you get your appointment through soon.
Mo hope darts went well this evening!!

There is a mini-meet taking place tomorrow. Persephone aka Norma is coming to Papakura to meet me after I see my eye specialist. I hope I get to sleep tonight, had trouble last night. I will take a sleeping pill (or half one) and set the alarm to go off at 6am as the appointment is at 8.10 and it takes 30 mins to get there, maybe more if the traffic/fog are bad or the lights against me. Maybe I will go to bed fully clothed so I am ready to take off!

Huia, how lovely. I do hope you have a lovely meet with Norma. Now I must just phone the local police, and warn them that two little chatter boxes are going to be in town. And good luck with the eye specialist. Perhaps now they will sort out the constant, eye problems that you have been having
Just to let you know Ann,we won last night. 4-2 in the team game, and 2-1 in the pairs. Whats the weather like where you all are. Here in Kent,it is blowing a gale still, and very very overcast. I have got the gas fire on to keep warm. As of yet,we have not had the central heating on.
Tommorrow,I am off to Maidstone, with my friends,to hopefully finish the christmas present buying. Thank the lord for the free bus pass. Even though I can drive,it is easier by bus,no parking fees and searching for a space to park,in the first place.
I am getting a little worried,as one off my friends, has threatened to sing The Wheels of The Bus go round and round, when we get on the bus. Now this is coming from a lady who is 65. Knowing our luck, she will get us thrown off,at the next bus stop. LOL
I will be back this evening,so I will see you all then. Love Mo xxx

Huia, and Norma have a lovely time together, so nice to meet up with people, I am hoping for another mini meet with Daff before Christmas.
Mo, well done on winning good scores too.
Enjoy your shop tomorrow, we never take the car to town now, for a start it is good to be able to have a glass of wine with lunch without worrying about the driver.

Hi All,
Mo, so pleased you won at darts last night. Well done to all the team! Enjoy your shopping trip tomorrow. Hope you can get all your Christmas finished. Have you got many presents left to buy? I was just thinking, that it's always us women that have to buy all the presents, if it was left to the men I don't think anyone would get anything. Enjoy your sing-song on the bus.
Huia, hope you get your eye problem sorted when you see the specialist, it's gone on for a long while now. Enjoy your meeting with Norma, it will be lovely for the both of you to meet up and have a good old chin wag. Take care!
Jean, thanks for your pm. I've just read it, I'll send you a reply later on. You are brave going to the dentist! I wish I was the same.
Ann, like you and your hubby, Alun and I always get the bus if we are going up to town, and we mostly catch the bus when we go to Nottingham or Derby, it's so much easier than the car--no searching for a parking place, and no parking fees.
I got a phone call today, telling me that I will be starting a therapy course on Monday at 1-30p.m. It will all be done over the phone, one session a week for six weeks. Not sure how I feel about that, I'll just have to try it and see how it will go.
Hope everyone else is alright. Speak to you all tomorrow.
Take care! Love, Sallie.xxx

Sallie,do you mean to tell me that you won't actually be seeing the therapist,in person. How the heck is that supposed to work. I have to admit I have never heard off it happening like that before. Give it a go love, and if it doesn't help,go back and see the doctor please. Will you keep us updated on how you think it's going. I bought more pressies today,so that tommorrow I only have to buy four more. At least that way,I wont have so much problem in carrying them. That will total 66 stocking fillers, that I have bought. It's not the buying so much,it's the wrapping off them. I normally end up wrapped in the selotape as well as the gifts. We had the men to do our loft insulation today. It goes to show how much the old insulation had decreased in depth. The new lot is about 10 inches in depth. So we should be nice and warm upstairs now. I think we are in for a very windy night,I just hope we don't lose any slates off of the roof. I hope Marie is o.k,also Debbie. Night Night all. Love Mo xxx of the roof

Hi Sallie, I must admit to being puzzled as to how you can have a therapy course over the phone. We await developments!!!

Hi Mo and Ann, not sure how it can be done either. I think it would be a lot better to meet the therapist face to face, but I'll give it a go as I need to get from where I am now. If I feel that it isn't working then I'll tell the therapist that it isn't, then go on from there. The family and a few of my friends all think that it's a bit strange having a therapy session over the phone. I think it might be called progress! I'll certainly keep you all informed on how it's going.
Love, Sallie.xx

Hello everyone, from one exhausted human being. I have now finished my christmas shopping. Later this evening,I shall wrap them all up. I am really pleased with my little self. Just to let you know,I have had an e.mail from Marie. She is getting over a bad tummy bug,but she asked me to give you all her love, and to let you know that she will be back with us soon. Jean, thank you so much for the lovely card. You are so very clever. I just wish that I had as much patience as yourself,Ann and Sallie have. I will pop back later to see if we have had any visitors,to the thread.

Hello All,
Mo, pleased to know that you have finished your Christmas shopping. Did you enjoy your day out with your friends? I still have to pack the presents that I've already bought and I've still got quite a few to get.
Jean, thank you for your card it is really lovely. Jennie is thinking about making Christmas cards for next year, not sure that she will get into it, she hasn't got much patience, we'll wait and see.
Ann, have you finished all your Christmas yet? I've had a couple of ideas today on what to get a couple of people, so my friend Janet will come with me one day next week so that I can get them.
Marie, hope you will feel a lot better soon, take care of yourself.
Huia, hope you got on alright when you went to see the eye specialist, and that you had a nice day out with Norma.
I hope Marilyn is still enjoying her holiday in Florida and that all is well with her and her hubby.
I hope everything is alright with Debbie, Sue, Liz and Grace. We haven't heard from Sue and Grace for a long while.
Alun and I are going down to Richard's at the weekend, so we might go into Windsor with Christie for a few hours. Richard is working on Saturday, so we'll probably meet him from work, as he works in Windsor. I don't really want to go, but Alun's said that we are going, because it will do me good to go. So I hope I'll be okay.
Speak to you all later. Take care everyone.
Love, Sallie.xxx

My goodness Jean, the royal mail really exceeded themselves then. Sallie,I know it will be hard for you, going to Windsor. But remember you will have Alun with you,and Christie will enjoy showing you around. Then you will see Richard when he finishes work. A little at a time will do you good. You CAN do it love. If you can stay away from over crowded places, your panic attack will not seem so bad. Be strong my love,we are all willing you on. Love Mo xxx

Good moaning all.
I was woken 90 mins ago (5.15am) by my yowling cat. It was her 'arent I a clever girl' yowl. She had brought a mouse in. Unfortunately it escaped her clutches and went behind some furniture. I just hope it finds its way outside when she is not looking.
I have had my breakfast but now I might lie down on the setter to grab another hours sleep before getting ready to go out for the day.
BTW, does anybody want a cat?
Huia.

Hi All,
Mo, you deserve to sit and have a nice restful evening, after all you've done today. I've made a start on wrapping the Christmas presents, and hope to wrap some more later on when Alun goes to the club . I went up to town with Jennie, today so that I could get a few things that I needed, we weren't there long, and I was okay, thank goodness. Still, I was glad to get home, the weather was bright but cold and windy, so it was lovely to get back into the warm.
Huia, I hope you managed to get some more sleep, and that your 'little visitor' has now gone.
Hope everyone is alright, speak to you all later.
Love, Sallie.xxx

Sallie, well done on going out with Jennie today. I don't blame you for wanting to get home in the warm. When we went up town today,we were both frozen to the marrow. The first thing we did,was to put the kettle on,for a nice hot cup of tea,to warm us up. Oh yes that was another task I had to do today, shopping. Huia, hows your mouse about the house. Have you managed to find it.? I think your cat was trying to tell you it was hungry. Or that it loves you LOL Keep up the good work Sallie, and enjoy yourself at Windsor. Love and best wishes Mo xxx
