Nigel was offensive, this gets more pathetic every day.

Dear Carla

thanks for your email. I am sorry but I cannot give you any further information as to why this was removed. I have told you everything I can find out.

If you wish to start another thread then please do. As long as it is not offensive then it can remain on the site.

Best regards,

knob

–noun
Quick definitions (knob)

▸ noun: a round handle
▸ noun: an ornament in the shape of a ball on the hilt of a sword or dagger

Just incase the powers that be don't have a dictionary to hand?

Yes GR or rather ITV own this site but I beg to differ that GR can do what they like. This site is paid for by the 9 million or so members and is therefore should be answerable to its members - but appear to choose not to be.
No-one turned Nigel's thread at all he - in fact he was having a quiet few days he had been to the seaside the weekend before last and was going camping over Easter (which he still did but hey ho he cant tell you about it now)

To those still in the dark, Nigel is my small nephew - the vast majority of posts if not all were based totally on fact and were written to appeal to the perhaps naughty humour of small boys. there was never anything offensive, abusive or plain rude on the thread - it was simply the adventures of a small boy finding his way in the world. If it had survived today he was going to tell you all about having a bright shiny new knob for the front door (£9.99 from Wilko's by the way before some smutty small minded individual has the screaming hab dabs and reports me for saying 'rude' words like knob).

Cats, dogs and kids.........in that case my house will be deleted soon. They're all here lol

In fact thinking about it you'll won't be seeing me for much longer cos I'll be deleted toooooooooooooooooooooooo.............................

Seriously, (I hope) I didn't read your thread so have no idea why it was deleted.

Newby Report 15 Apr 2009 14:01

Depends on the complaint I think . Sometimes GR just send an e-mail saying we will keep an eye on the thread .To delete a whole thread does seem a bit odd as usually only the offending posts are removed.

Eeyore13

Eeyore13 Report 15 Apr 2009 13:57

If that was the case why wait to remove it?If aThread is that bad surely it would be removed at the first complaint?
I can see what you mean but the impression is "once & you're out" if deemed inappropriate.

Newby Report 15 Apr 2009 13:52

GR said they had received several complaints. To me that could easily mean more than one complaint from the same person over a period of time who finally struck lucky., not a bunch of delete crazed revenge driven people who are supposedly 'Controlled' .
