Just been reading your new thread about finding siblings, Shimms. I didn't read your last one, sadly - my half-brother recently met a sister that he had no idea existed, and she came over all the way from Oz to see us all. It was an amazing day.

Do you think GR whooshes threads that have become very long and lasted a long time? I've heard of other long lasting and well loved threads just disappearing overnight.

Hi Meri, I have the feeling, that sadly is the case. I wonder if there is an issue about memory capacity with the system.
If it is the case I wish they would be more selective & at least inform the thread originators of their intent.

How wonderful Meri, Oz ... my word, that is, well, I just feel all warm and fuzzy. Not sure why GR whoosh, perhaps their computer memory capacity is not large enough. It used to be threads that had reached 25,000 posts or similar, now it doesn't seem to matter. Siblings was about 5,000 ... started the moment I found my long lost adopted sister, Eeyores was far less yet just as lovely and others, much longer. ShimmsPad was well over 12,000. xxx

Stevie, that would be nice, am sorry to hear that you've been in pain. Have you tried Deep Relief, helps me alongside my painkillers. xxx
