I am guessing that Shimmer is very upset when she sees the nastiness on the boards and her friends behaving badly really gets to her.....................maybe a bit more tolerance toward each other would help.

We haven't all got thick skins and don't all love a good row..............please bear that in mind.

I think your right there Kitty right now she's needs us to be there for her like she would for us

It isn't fair to row when it upsets Shimms and many other kind and generous members.

Most of us want a bit of a laugh and some interesting chats as well as sharing genealogy information................we don't deserve to have the boards spoiled by nastiness.

I for one will never ever enter rows on threads its not what I joined for.

Shimms is a class of her own.....such a lovely lady, kind and thoughtful.

I would love her as a real friend not only a cyber friend.

I hope she is not too distressed at this moment in time.

A simple smile, a loving word, a joke to brighten up the day,
A phone call when you're not at your best, a light to lead the way,
An ear to listen a heart to accept, to love and understand,
The simple way you came to me, the gentle touch of your hand.

The way we think a lot alike on fun or serious things,
It seems to be this friendship has taken to it's wings.
Through days and weeks and even months we have shared a lot "deep" within,
but guaranteed with love and trust, that's a good way to begin.

For when two people such as us, can meet and almost blend,
I've read your heart, I know your mind, and am "greatful" to call you Friend.

I haven't a clue what this is all about......but she sounds a genuine person to me. I felt like the new boy in the class yesterday...and she came right over and let me sit at her desk. So I don't want to go into school tomorrow and find my new friend gone.

Shimms I think the decision as to wether to stay or leave has to be with you.
the amount of posts will tell you you will be missed., but the choice is yours.
